DiTIS is a short form of FSPPP’s Dissertations and Theses Inventory System. Since the establishment of FSPPP, the faculty has produced volumes of post-graduate dissertations and theses. Therefore, there is a dire need to establish a database to manage these high volumes of thesis and dissertations.
DiTIS provides comprehensive information in relation to the completed thesis and dissertations of post-graduate students in FSPPP. It allows searching of students’ dissertations and thesis based on title, keywords, supervisors expertise and profile of supervisors. As such, information obtained from DiTIS will assist both; the students and supervisors to explore research areas and to avoid redundancy in titles and topics.
